I have the same issue, albeit I was trying to run it in a virtual machine in windows 11.

Edit:

• So my mate has a native windows 10 installation and it works for him.
• The issue seems to be that the app closes itself immediatly upon launching. If launched through the terminal it immediately exits.
• Windows 10 VM has the same problem (using virtual box)

I managed to solve it for me. Executing the .exe from the release page does not yield errors (neither by double-clicking it or by running it in the command prompt), however after compiling it in debug mode and running it in the command prompt it spat out Error: OpenGL(PainterError("egui_glow requires opengl 2.0+. ")). To provide the OpenGL I downloaded a software OpenGL renderer from here. The opengl32.dll needs to sit in the same directory as the er-save-editor.exe, then it worked for me.

Maybe you have the same issue or even a different issue that can be solved the same way.

@aaueer Worked for me putting the opengle32.dll in the same folder as the er-save-editor.exe! Thanks, i'm also trying to use this in a VM environment
