is administrative and technical supervisory work planning, organizing and
directing inspection operations of existing properties in one of the City’s Code
Enforcement districts. Employees in this class supervise technical and
clerical staff responsible for inspecting existing properties, which may
include homes, business establishments, day care facilities, food and news
carts, industrial establishments, residential and commercial high-rise
buildings, mixed use properties and buildings with commercial uses. Employees
are responsible for supervising the activities of a division district and directing
the enforcement of <span style='color:black'>property maintenance, zoning, and
fire prevention codes, as well as ordinances and regulations governing
commercial and business activity.</span> Communicating with <span
style='color:black'>property owners, building managers, tenants, landlords,
business owners, </span>community groups, and the general public are
significant aspects of the work. Employees may respond,<span
