Game crashes on screen interaction

Mods needed:
text-utilities-fabric-1.4.2+1.19.2.jar
RoughlyEnoughItems-9.1.595.jar
configured-fabric-2.0.0-1.19.2.jar
Note that the crash report does reference Cloth Config which I believe is a dependency, not sure if the conflict is with Cloth Config or Configured.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open anvil.
2. Open REI configuration menu
3. Hit escape to get out of configuration menu
4. Crash

Note that this mod is not installed on the server and if I try to rename or color something it shows up properly until I apply the action. Anvils I was not able to see the color menu but I was able to manually type § for the colors. The sign I just attempted to color did not properly color when I hit done.
