after switching from the "syncthing" Android app (which is now discounted) to syncthing-fork I noticed that the syncthing app closes itself each night.
It doesn't happen to any other of my "background" apps and didn't happen to the discounted syncthing version.
I have no read through #1175 and understand that it is due to a permission that syncthing-fork doesn't want to submit and discuss with gplay.
Wouldn't be an easy workaround to have the app go into "foreground" automatically every e.g. 5 hours?
If so, maybe it could become an optional option in the settings for people who face this issue?
Alternatively: Would a "forced re-scan" of a folder be enough to prevent the app from closing automatically?

The app still running in the background (the app notification tells me it still running), but on the other device it shows that the mobile is not connecting.
When I send files to the mobile, it doesn't sync anything untill I open the syncthing-fork app and it will scan the folder and sync.
And after a while (not sure how long) the app sleep again in the background.
Does anyone know why this got closed as "completed" without further information ?
I confirm that Syncthing fork regularly closes itself without any kind of warning or notification, no matter if we follow advices from Dontkillmyapp.com .
