CM10 is having issues with mobile networks. It chooses the network automatically alright. But if I want to manually scan (Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Network Operators) to see what GSM networks are available, all I get is "Error while searching networks.".

I updated my X10i from 2.3 to CMX10-v20 and the phone is now unable to find any cellular network (Settings->About->Status shows UNKNOWN:0 as Mobile Network Type). Selecting Settings->Wireless&networks->Mobile networks->Network Operators gives me the same 'Error while searching networks' as for sk10614. The baseband is 2.1.71. The mobile operator is Koodo - Canada. Google turned up with nothing with regards to any tips or fixes. I have tried wiping the cache as well as dalvik cache. Is there anything I can do apart from going back to GingerBread? Thanks, Rob
I rolled back to the official GB firmware and the phone still has problems finding a mobile network. Called Koodo (the mobile provider) and they confirmed that the X10i won't work on their network. But whether because the IMEI is blocked or if the phone doesn't operate on their bands (unlikely) is unknown. That's too bad since I loved my X10i...
