help with backspace key

i can't figure out the code for backspace

delete doesn't work
fwd-delete doesn't work

Depends on what you mean by “backspace” – I’ve seen the term used both for the key which deletes the character to the left and for the key which deletes the character to the right.

To the left should work with delete. To the right should theoretically be a case for fwd-delete, but I’ve just used it for the first time in years, it didn’t seen to do anything (on a German keyboard). Anyways, it should be possible to emulate the fn + delete shortcut: cliclick kd:fn kp:fwd-delete ku:fn.
