Hello, thank you and @SleepingFox88 for your contribution.
May I know how long it took you to train an agent?Maybe one day or two days? My agent is always not very good. Is it because the training time is too short?
Thank you very much.

Hello @Tenderness0715 this repository focuses on animation conversion from .bvh files into the DeepMimic animation format. I believe the Gifs under the progress section of this repository's main ReadMe.md are simply displaying animations and not trained, physically based agents. Correct me if I am wrong @BartMoyaers. After creation however, these animations can be used to train DeepMimic skills.

Regarding how long one should train DeepMimic skills for good results, the original DeepMimic repository states It typically takes about 60 millions samples to train one policy, which can take a day when training with 16 workers. under the how to use section of their repository's ReadMe. It may take more or less time depending on your CPU's processing power and the complexity of the animation being trained. Last time I checked, the sample rate is occasionally displayed in terminal while training. I hope that helps.

Will the converted data show unsuccessful training? I have had a situation in which the lower body has no effect after training.

@gitgetgat It's certainly possible that converted example movements do not converge while training. (If you tried this, please let us know which movements you tried to convert and train!)
