Deep mimic uses its own custom mocap files. It isn't very easy to come by and often requires extra conversions before it is ready to use.
In-order to use .fbx files from mixamo.com (, etc), it would be cool if you could add support to do so.
Here is a repository that converts fbx_to_bhv. If we can integrate BhvToDeepMimic and fbx_2_bvh, it would be a one-stop conversion process to deep-mimic
This is used by many animators, so there is an ever-updating database.
