A full guide is available right here.
Check the Reference for the terms used in PSO2JP.
Check here for raw story scripts(incomplete).
Please use the Issues menu on the right for discussions, suggestions, and feedback.
DO NOT CHANGE the line's code (ex: Ep3_Quna#0). Only edit the text in the quotes!
The tag <br> starts the translations on a new line. Only worry about these if formatting is necessary (Client orders, daily orders, etc.) Normal NPC chatter/story text _should_ automatically do this.
The tag <%me> puts the player's name where the tag is.
To use quotes inside strings, use \"". For example: "ARKS stands for \""ARTIFICIAL RELICT TO KEEP SPECIES\"". Isn't that neat?"
The minimum supported resolution is 1280x720, text should not cut off at this resolution. There are no guarantees for lower resolutions.
Weapon potential descriptions have a maximum limit of 22 characters per line. Lines should be 5 lines max and shouldn't exceed that number for aesthetic purposes, but can if the wording is too big.
Always compare the Japanese source first before editing the English branch.
Please use proper grammar whenever possible. We won't accept this or this as acceptable translations.
And for the love of god, please don't do this. Pretending to know Japanese when you just google translate might win you some points with your friends, but not here.

For translations that refer to names (classes, items, enemies, etc), please treat them as proper nouns and use uppercase for the first letter of each word.
- example: Heretic queen -> Heretic Queen, Nagisa eye patch -> Nagisa Eye Patch
- We do not use the community term of affixing/affix when referring to the process of adding special abilities or special abilities.
- Takt タクト: Comes from the German word for Conductor's Baton
- Weapon series Jutus ジュティス: Latin for help, aid.
On the subject of Xiera: Dengeki and 4Gamer (Japanese gaming websites) were both given the names of key EPISODE 4 character names in both their English and Japanese names by SEGA themselves, to bridge the connection with Xion and Xiao.
On the subject of Dark Falz Loser: Dark Falz Loser is not a joke by us, but rather the actual name for him.
Without going into spoiler territory, the name in Japanese is ルーサー, Romanji: Ruusaa. And the entity himself, 【敗者】 which 敗者 is a noun for loser/defeated/failure. Also see this link here, from the folks at PSUmods, who gave us the patch to work on so they can sleep better at night.
