I would vote that minimum logistic set (provider + requester + cargo robot 1) should be available no later then orange science analyzer level (tech overhaul on). Unlocking at blue science analyzer level would preclude making even basic mall for quite long. |
I've seen plenty of belt based malls. No bots required. Also some with a bus of warehouses. |

Also, honestly, stop taking away stuff and putting it too high in the tech tree, at least for the overhauls. I'd say those are way too early without science on, but given how much more obnoxious green analysers (and the datacores actually) are to produce Vs just red and green packs I'd say it's fine with science on. And orange analysers are even more obnoxious to make lol I guess you could nerf the T1 crawlers by making them slower or more energy expensive, IMO they use like 5x to 10x too little energy, especially compared to vanilla logi boys (which are way faster but also carry almost nothing) - but that also would mean fixing the angels charging infrastructure, which is hilariously underpowered (50kW Vs MWs in bobs for example, which imo helps reduce lag since you don't have 50000 bots queueing to charge for 15s each) |
Background
Logistics System tech requires Red, Green, Blue, Yellow science.
Logistic warehouses and silos are locked behind this. Including passive provider and storage variants.
Red and Yellow chests (passive provider and storage chests) are unlocked earlier with either construction or logistics bots (Red, Green, Blue science).
Angel's Industries adds Big Chests. All variants are unlocked much earlier in the game (Red, Green science).
Issue
This feels broken, having access to big requester chests so early in the game. When otherwise you would have had to wait until Yellow Science. All the other variants are unlocked so much later.
