[Thread] Translate AlDente and get 50% off AlDente Pro for a Year #450
Comments
Hey, Here is a fully translated french file. :) |
Hi @HeySora, Thank you so much, we will include it with the next update. :) Cheers, |
Currently working on Italian version. One question: "lblStopChargingWhenClosed" = "Stop charging\nwhen app closed"; Are these two the same? 'cause as far as I know there's no option to limit the charge while the MacBook is powered off. |
Hi @simotau, Thank you so much for helping us. This feature is different depending on which MacBook model you use. In short: Apple silicon MacBooks don’t have the ability to pause charging when they are powered off. Therefore, the feature is called "Stop charging when app closed". On Thunderbolt 3 Intel MacBooks, on the other hand, charging can be paused while they are turned off. Therefore, the feature is called "Stop charging when powered off". You can read more about those features and what they do in detail in our blog post here: https://apphousekitchen.com/feature-explanation-stop-charging-when-powered-off-app-closed/ Cheers, |
Hey! I tried my best to do a decent job: https://gofile.io/d/aUtv55 I left some word like "Top Up" or "Helper" the same. The first one 'cause I think it's a cool way to name a feature, the second one in order to make easier to people to find the application helper into the Library folder if they want to. I hope my Italian fellows won't be too judgmental to me 😅 Bye, |
It seems good to me! |
Thanks a lot, @simotau, we will include it with the next update. Cheers, |

Hi, |
Hi, Basically I submitted Polish translation a year ago and since then quite a lot has changed in AlDante. I wanted to update my translation but lost the file so now we have some aspects of the app quite well translated mixed with small errors and a few mistranslated lines. Cheers, |
Hi @MatthiasKerbl |

Hi @xhable1337, Thank you for helping us improving the translations. Cheers, |
At first, I made a Japanese translation of the file. I am sorry, but I have never used pro's unique features, so I'm a little worried about the translations regarding them. |
Hi @saxAllan, Thanks a lot for the translation, we will add it in one of the upcoming updates. Cheers, |
Ok.. finally found some time to update my Polish translation. |
I have fixed some mistakes in Chinese(simplified). |
Localizable.strings.zip |
tr-Default.strings.zip |
Romanian.zip Here's a full Romanian localization. I have no idea if it's needed but if it is I'm more than glad to help! Please note that I've attempted to properly match Apple's system translations, but it ain't perfect. I think users may have a difficult time trying to understand some of Apple's stupid translations. What I'm trying to say is that it doesn't 100% match Apple's system translations. Please let me know if you want that, and I'll update accordingly. Example: "helper application" roughly translates to "program ajutător", but Apple prefers "instrument de ajutor" → "instrument for help/helper instrument". |
I saw multiple Korean users have been contributed to the language and was mostly satisfied with the translation. But there were some off translation on the scheduling task part of the translation and fixed a few. |
Hello, |
Hello, |
Hi @xhable1337, Thanks a lot for your contribution and I am glad to hear that you like AlDente. Best, |
I have a few fixes for the italian version (a few inconsistencies in foreign / italian names, consistency with macOs italian names, capitalisation, some grammar and typos): and text patch to see the changes: it.patch No need to send over a discount. |
I can offer translation to Czech, still in need? |
Hi @JoshuaHaNocri, Yes, we still need a translation into Czech. Thanks for helping out. Best, |
Fixes for most of the locales here and adds British. I have emailed support. Let me know when changes are integrated and I can delete my repo. |
