RE: Android Backup behavior vs your software and Terms of use / license agreement

As the new JW library updated on my phone ( android ), the new license agreement authorization popped up .
The terms of use is clear in the windows app par 2.
" 2. May I write software or another app that uses the program or data from JW Library? No. You may not use any part of the JW Library app, software, or its data to write another app or software product, whether this is done in exchange for money or not. "

the License agreement has a section 3 :
" 3. RESTRICTIONS ON USE. You may not do any of the following: Sell the PRODUCT including the SOFTWARE or the WORKS; post all or any portion of the PRODUCT including the SOFTWARE or the WORKS on the Internet or on any other electronic network; duplicate for distribution all or any portion of the PRODUCT on any kind of storage device; alter the SOFTWARE; reverse engineer, reverse assemble, reverse compile, disassemble, or decompile the SOFTWARE; sublicense or lease the SOFTWARE; use the SOFTWARE with other access programs; use or call subroutines provided by the SOFTWARE to create new or derivative works, or apps, including utilities; remove or obscure Watch Tower’s copyright and/or trademark notices; or use the PRODUCT, including the SOFTWARE or WORKS for any commercial purpose. "

But the Android Agreement that popped up upon the latest android release refers to jw.org/en/terms-use
Section 2: par 3 states :
"Although you agree to comply with the above usage restrictions, you may request specific permission to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, adapt, translate, or disassemble any portion or all of the Application including without limitation any of its underlying ideas, algorithms, or structure, or to use the Application to create new applications, programs, products, or services. Watchtower shall grant permission at its sole discretion. To request this specific permission, please contact Watchtower by sending an email to [email protected]. "

Note 1.
In my current usage I have several android tablets, computers, etc., and I install and reinstall many times due to me testing AOSP images on devices. I usually have a main device I use as my daily driver , for instance my Pixel phone.

Behavior 1: When installing a fresh install on an Android device and using the backup from the play store from my daily driver all my apps, JW library included, : JW library will have my notes and highlights even if i have to re download a book, or Bible translation. It seems that the backup function of Google Play restores the database file.

In order to be in compliance with the above term-use agreement, it would seem you need permission from the developers of jw library for this program to be compliant, OR

Simply upload a backup from your daily driver to the cloud, restore that backup to your current "study "device, and if you add notes, perform the reverse, upload your current notes to the cloud, and restore that one to your daily driver.
