This is a compatibility issue with Embeddium/Rubidium and Brandon'sCore, believe it or not. Issue has been stated to be fixed by removing or disabling Embeddium/Rubidium from the pack.
(I'm unable to remove these mods, not sure if it's because im playing minecraft on linux or if it's not possible)
