When I highlight text on iOS, the font remains white but the background color changes. This results in a very bright highlight that is difficult to read. On Android, the font changes to black and is much easier to read.

In addition, it seems as if the yellow on iOS is brighter than the yellow on Android defeating much of the purpose of dark mode. Would be nice if there was a color picker like Olive Tree has for their Bible Reader so we could chose colors with less intensity.

@mrlad Could you please provide screenshots so we can confirm that this is not a rendering issue.

Android Screen shot. Yellow is not as bright.

Android version now has a white font when highlighting also (not sure when this change happened, possible I did an update from Google Play and the highlighting behavior changed). Either way though, the highlight is just too bright for dark mode.

Point of comparison, this is the Olive Tree Bible Reader highlighting while in dark mode on an iPad Pro.

Thanks @mrlad We will try to find a better color balance in the upcoming release
