Why does my launcher speak Chinese now?

Is this related to Tik Tok being banned and people all moving to Xiaohongshu? lol

I want my English launcher back please and couldn't find where to configure this

Steps to reproduce

1. Pick up my phone
2. Unlock the phone
3. Swipe up to search
4. Type in random words
5. It shows "点击something搜索“

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?

It seems your language was changed to Chinese. This can happen if you change the app language or your device language. Please go to the bottom of the all-apps list > Niagara settings (gear icon) > Advanced (three horizontal dots) > App info (information-i icon) > language > select english. This will change Niagara Launcher back to English. However, please also check your system language and set it to English if you want your device to be English.
