Pair Failed #1

I have the windows server running on a Windows 10 machine, and the NodeJS Client Library running on a Mac. Upon trying to pair the flic the server reports "Pair Failed" and then the client fails with "WizardFauledTimeout". Prior to this however, the client detects the press of the button.

Any ideas?

Hi.
What do you mean with "client detects the press of the button"?
The most likely reason that the pairing fails is because you have a button from our first batch. You can open the battery lid and check the serial number that's written under the battery. If it is AAxx-xxxxxxx then it's from the first batch. Later buttons have newer upgradable firmware and the newer firmwares supports the particular pairing Windows wants.

I have the same issue. How can we work with the first batch? Bought six of them during the kickstarter, hoping to integrate it with my own systems. Would be disappointing if they all would be useless.

Hi. Send an email to [email protected] and a link to this page. Then we can send you new buttons.

Has anyone resolved this issue?
I have the same issue but the one I have has serial number starting with AD.
I also have upgraded it to F022.

Any help would be very appreciated.
