I have been trying to check if the torch is already on when the app is started but isTorchActive function is giving me false on both occasions (when the torch is on and off as well). Is this normal behaviour of the package/resource or am i doing something wrong in the code?

@rafaelcmm i faced this in android. havent tried on ios.
