Notes area too big / Not fullscreen anymore

When I switch on notes, they take more than half of the screen, so that the 
slides are very small. Also the display switches to window mode (both visible 
in attached screenshot).

It would be great to have an adjustable notes area. Or maybe a smaller one. And 
I expect the display to stay fullscreen.

Version 0.3.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS.

Screen resolution: 1280x800 (laptop screen), 1024x768 (presentation screen)

I agree with this and it will also be nice if the notes area becomes adjustable 
as in PowerPoint.
